In June 2004, the Buffalo Bayou Partnership conducted a community workshop with residents, business owners and other stakeholders in the East End. Council Members Carol Alvarado and Adrian Garcia, County Commissioner Sylvia Garcia, the Greater East End Management District and Neighborhood Centers, Inc. – Ripley House co-hosted the event.

Over 75 people attended the workshop and participated in the group planning activities. The summary report (MS word) of the workshop was sent to Mayor Bill White and is available here on the website.
