Buffalo Bayou Partnership invites you to take a look back to the late 1800s, when Houston was founded, to learn about the important individuals and families along Buffalo Bayou who helped shape Houston. Louis Aulbach, local historian and author of Buffalo Bayou: An Echo of Houston’s Wilderness Beginnings will be your guide. He will share stories of the Allen brothers, the founders of Houston, and provide historical information about places, people, animals and events along the bayou west and east of downtown.

Cost: $40 per person

Restrictions: Weather permitting. Children under 4 are not permitted on boat tours.
