VOLUNTEER SATURDAYS:

Work and play on the same day!

On Saturdays, join individual and group members of Buffalo Bayou Partnership's Green Team as we beautify the parks and trails of Buffalo Bayou. Now is your chance to help lend a hand. We provide all tools and supplies, as well as water and snacks. All you have to bring is yourself and a waiver! All of these events are open to the public and individual volunteers, though some have groups already! Feel free to join in! Please contact Jessalyn Ballard if you wish to particiapte in any of these events!

Fall 2011 Volunteer Calendar

 

Saturday and Sunday, October 8 and 9

Work and play at the same time at the Bayou City Art Festival!

We need volunteers to man 4 hour shifts each day at the BBP booth. Volunteers will assist in the craft activity, but may also be assigned other duties if BCAF call for it. You'll receive a free t-shirt and free access to the festival!

Saturday, October 29

KBR Kid's Day

We'll need volunteers for set-up, booth manning, and a variety of of other tasks. The event only runs from 11am-3pm, but over 7,000 people come out each year, and we need YOUR help!
