Nights on Blue Bayou: CITY SOUNDSCAPES is a multi-dimensional series of events on the banks of the bayou, beneath the historic Sabine Street Bridge, presented by the University of Houston Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts and Buffalo Bayou Partnership.

This fall's outdoor music series features a wide range of artists from throughout the nation performing under the stars and the downtown skyline at this newly restored section of the Buffalo Bayou.

Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts
The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the Arts at the University of Houston cultivates interdisciplinary collaboration in the performing, visual, and literary arts. The Center fuels the "life cycle" of contemporary artists, from students and emerging artists to the leading creative thinkers of our time. Each season, the Mitchell Center presents public performances, exhibitions, and events, and offers artist residencies, courses, and scholarships, all in alliance with the School of Art, Creative Writing Program, Moores School of Music, School of Theatre and Dance, and Blaffer Gallery, the art museum of the University of Houston.
