The Water Works Underground “Cistern”: A Historic Houston Space with Enormous Potential

Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) continues to conduct channel realignment work near the Police Memorial. Canoeists and kayakers are asked to remove all watercraft at Montrose. After the waterway reopens around mid-March 2013, HCFCD will continue its work upstream to Shepherd.
