DESCRIPTION:KBR Kids Day is one of Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s (BBP) signature events\, with thousands of children and their families in attendance each year. Join us on October 13 for free family fun at the 12th annual KBR Kids Day at Guadalupe Plaza Park. Activity stations will include numerous hands-on activities from over 20 Houston partners\, local entertainment and performers\, Dia de los Muertos face painters\, balloon artists\, a rock climbing wall\, and so much more! DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, October 13\nMarket: 6-9pm\nConcert: 7-9:30pm\nEmancipation Park \nThe Bayou City Music Series resumes this fall with free performances at Discovery Green\, Emancipation Park and The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. The concert series\, made possible by the Kinder Foundation\, honors the great jazz\, blues and zydeco musicians of Houston and Southeast Texas. \nFamed pianist and composer Jason Moran comes home to the Third Ward. Jazz students from Moran’s alma mater\, HSPVA\, will open. Legendary jazz vocalist Horace Grigsby\, rounds out a great night of music. \nThis event will include a market featuring local vendors with original products and will be open beginning at 6pm and throughout the concert.
