SUMMARY:New Moon Sound Healing Meditation
DESCRIPTION:The moon cycle is a theme throughout the design of Buffalo Bayou Park\, from the Lunar Cycle Lighting along the trails to the moon pattern-cut columns along the Carruth pedestrian bridge. Now\, park visitors can observe monthly New Moon Meditations in the Buffalo Bayou Cistern. \nThe new moon is commonly known as a time to initiate beginnings.  This sound healing meditation series will feature the use of singing bowls and wind chimes to encourage mindfulness and connectivity. Tickets are available starting Friday\, September 8 at 9am. \n*** \nJoin us for Underground Sounds\, a unique music series in the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern! \nThis fall\, four Houston-based music organizations will perform specially composed or arranged works that highlight the remarkable natural acoustics of the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. \nAbout this program: Nameless Sound will present six unique concerts\, each with a different trio of creative musicians collaborating for the first time to explore the special sonic qualities of the Cistern.
