James A. Baker Monument
CHAS FAGAN

This portrait sculpture of the former Secretary of State, James A. Baker III was dedicated in October 2010. It is placed about 100 yards from a sculpture of Baker’s friend and former boss, George H.W. Bush, the 41st President of the United States. The monument is lined up such that Baker appears to look directly at Mr. Bush. The eight-foot bronze sculpture was designed by Chas Fagan, who also created the Lyndon B. Johnson Monument in Houston and the President Ronald Regan Monument, part of the National Statuary Hall Collection in Washington, DC, among others.
