KBR Kids Day on Buffalo Bayou

Thousands of children and their families enjoy this free community event held along Buffalo Bayou each year in October. Kids Day offers fun, hands-on activities, music, performances, face painters, and so much more!

Buffalo Bayou Partnership Gala: Belonging on the Bayou

NOVEMBER 7, 2024

Our annual gala held in Buffalo Bayou Park is Houston’s most memorable al fresco soirée. Guests enjoy cocktails and a seated dinner under a spectacular tent with an extraordinary view of downtown Houston. Tables for ten guests and individual tickets are offered. For full details, click here.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta

MARCH 22, 2025

The BBP Regatta is the largest canoe and kayak race in Texas, stretching 15 miles from San Felipe (just west of Voss) to downtown. Finish line festivities at Allen’s Landing include music, lunch for participants, and an awards ceremony. Paddlers, ages 12 and up, are encouraged to participate in this longstanding Houston tradition in support of Buffalo Bayou.
