Be part of the 53rd BBP Regatta! The largest canoe and kayak race in Texas is along Buffalo Bayou on March 22, 2025! Support Buffalo Bayou Partnership and participate in this Houston tradition.

Registration is available the day of the race, March 22 from 7:30 – 8:45am for $65.

Starting Line: 7700 San Felipe (1/4 mile west of Voss)
Race Day Registration: 7:30 – 8:45 am
Start Time: 9:00 am
Finish Line and Awards Ceremony: Downtown at Allen’s Landing (1019 Commerce Street at Main Street)
Awards Ceremony: 1:30 pm
The race begins at 9am with 4 starts. ALL starts will be in-water.
9:00am: Non-Competitive and Day-of Registrants
9:10am: Tandem Kayaks and Solo Kayaks
9:20am: Team Sponsor Canoes and Tandem Canoes
9:30am: Solo Unlimited and Performance Unlimited

The 2025 race will begin along Buffalo Bayou at San Felipe and Voss and end at Allen’s Landing. View the 15-mile race route here.
Free parking is located at the Starting Line (7700 San Felipe).
A complimentary shuttle service is available at the Finish Line to transport paddlers back to pick up their cars.
Additional details will be shared with registrants one week prior to the event.
