Celebrate National Picnic Day at Buffalo Bayou Park on Friday, April 23!

Purchase a meal from a participating restaurant, buy a blanket or tote bag online or at The Water Works Visitor Center, and find the perfect place in the park to enjoy yourself. Participating restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to BBP.

Flow into the weekend with Sunrise Yoga on Buffalo Bayou! We’re partnering with The Breathing Room for a series of 45-minute early morning yoga sessions that will take place at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. With a spectacular view of downtown, Houston’s most iconic green space is a unique and uplifting backdrop for yogis of all levels and ages.
