Due to the overwhelming response of July's Sunset Yoga class and the heavy rain that prevented the rooftop yoga, we're hosting another! Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the Hines Center for Spirituality and Prayer invite you work your core while resetting your focus during a special yoga class. This rare opportunity will allow you to practice your asanas and chattarongas atop the historic Sunset Coffee Building at sundown. The class will take place on the beautiful, spacious rooftop with incredible views of Buffalo Bayou and Downtown Houston - the perfect escape of your normal routine.

Houston WALK to End Hydrocephalus

Roche Bobois’ L’artesania de vivir in the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern

Second Saturday Boat Ride

The renowned international luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois is proud to debut its L’Artesanía de Vivir project in Houston inside the Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. Consisting of 32 unique chairs re-created by 23 Mexican craftsmen specializing in weaving, embroidery, and beadwork, the exhibit was first displayed at the prestigious Alcazar del Castillo Chapultapec in Mexico City and subsequently journeyed throughout museums in Mexico. Free and open to the public. No reservations are required for this special viewing.

Moving East: Community Meeting

Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP), the non-profit organization revitalizing Houston's historic waterway, is moving east. After developing Buffalo Bayou Park and other award-winning green space projects in the downtown area, BBP is making plans to transform the 5-mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou from US 59 to the Port of Houston Turning Basin.
