goWorkout Houston is hosting a fun community fitness event to benefit Buffalo Bayou Partnership. Funds will go towards the continuing efforts of Buffalo Bayou Partnership's revitalizing efforts of Houston's historic waterway.

Houstonians, ages 9 and up, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for community-wide volunteer days at Buffalo Bayou Park happening the third Saturday of each month. Whether volunteering as a large or small group, or individually, your efforts will lead to a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy.

Enjoy a free walking tour in Buffalo Bayou Park highlighting the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas that created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies in rebuilding this astonishing and all but vanished ecosystem.

It’s Pride Week and Downtown District and BBP are raising our rainbow flags! Be entertained by the lovely Violet S’Arbleau, Miss Gay Texas America 2017, who will co-host the evening alongside John Mills McCoin, your favorite zany announcer. Bring your blanket, lawn chairs or snag one of the tables at the park for a night of fun, music and great prizes! $10 admission includes one bingo packet (approx. 9 games). Additional games and daubers can be purchased for $1 each. Proceeds benefit BBP and Historic Market Square Park. Get there early as cards sell out quickly!
