Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the East End Bike Group to pedal and explore trails along Buffalo Bayou East!On the ride, you will learn more about the Buffalo Bayou East Master Plan and stop at sites that will be transformed into parks and unique destinations.

Buffalo Bayou Boat Tour

These 30-minute boat rides are a great way to spend the afternoon or evening with your family. Escape from the city and enjoy the cool breeze as you glide along Buffalo Bayou’s waters. Look for graceful herons, jumping fish, and even an occasional alligator sunning on the banks.

Wednesday Wellness Walk

Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership on a Wellness Walk led by Laura Conely, founder of Urban Paths Wellness Coaching. Anyone and everyone is invited to walk through the paths of Buffalo Bayou Park while discussing topics including mental and physical health as well as the benefits of being exposed to nature.

Unsilent Night

Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the University of Houston Downtown for Unsilent Night! Experience this festive and interactive holiday event in the great outdoors. Unsilent Night is a sound sculpture created when many individuals simultaneously play one of four music tracks by composer Phil Kline. The procession will be leaving from UHD down to the trails along Buffalo Bayou around 7pm.

Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership in celebrating the holiday season with 45-minute pontoon boat rides along Buffalo Bayou! Enjoy festive boat lighting with Santa and Mrs. Claus and hot chocolate to keep your spirits warm.

Looking Back History Boat Tours

Aboard BBP’s pontoon boat, take a look back to the late 1800s when Houston was founded with Louis Aulbach, local historian and author of Buffalo Bayou: An Echo of Houston’s Wilderness Beginning or Andrew Groocock, local historian. Hear stories of the Allen brothers and historical information about the people, places and events along the bayou that helped shape Houston.

Port to Port History Boat Tour

Join bayou guide Andrew Groocock on a historical tour of the upper channel of Buffalo Bayou focusing on the historic significance of this industrial stretch and Houston, as you cruise the approximately seven miles from the old port of Houston to the new port of Houston.

RESCHEDULED: Members-only Full Moon Hike

Start out 2020 with a New Year, New Ba(YOU) Full Moon Hike along Buffalo Bayou Park! Members of The Currents, Buffalo Bayou Partnership's YP Group will go on a guided 2-mile hike starting from The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park underneath the light of the full moon and the all-white Lunar Cycle Lighting.

FULL: Monthly Volunteer Workday

Houstonians, ages 9 and up, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for community-wide volunteer days at Buffalo Bayou Park happening the third Saturday of each month. Whether volunteering as a large or small group, or individually, your efforts will lead to a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy.
