Monthly Volunteer Day

Join us for Up on the Rooftop, Buffalo Bayou Partnership's festive fundraising fête hosted by The Currents, BBP's Young Professional Group. Come celebrate the season with holiday-themed music, bites and libations, magical views of downtown from the Sunset Coffee Building rooftop, and Holiday Cruises on our pontoon boat led by our very own Mr. and Mrs. Kringle. All proceeds from Up on the Rooftop will support Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s mission to restore and revitalize Houston's historic waterway.

Sunset Yoga at Sunset Coffee Building

Monthly Volunteer Day

BBP Members are invited to join us this fall/winter as we partner with BIGPower Yoga for a 3-part monthly Sunset Yoga series from November to January. Our free, beginner-level Sunset Yoga series aims to help keep us all active and healthy during the colder months. After a beginner-level 45-min yoga class, enjoy nourishing beverages, all while overlooking Buffalo Bayou from our Sunset Coffee Building balcony.

Buffalo Bayou Park Wellness Walk

Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership on a free Wellness Walk led by Laura Conely, founder of Urban Paths. Anyone and everyone is invited to walk through the paths of Buffalo Bayou Park while discussing topics including mental and physical health as well as the benefits of being exposed to nature.

Monthly Volunteer Workday

Houstonians, ages 9 and up, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for community-wide volunteer days at Buffalo Bayou Park happening the third Saturday of each month. Whether volunteering as an individual or a small group, your efforts will lead to a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy.

Winter Solstice with Sights and Sounds

Second Saturday Boat Ride

Immerse yourself in a seasonal light and meditative experience in the Cistern to celebrate Winter Solstice, the “rebirth of the sun.” Find your center with tranquil sounds by Saumil Manek with his use of singing bowls and wind chimes. To amplify mindfulness and connectivity, you will also be surrounded by a special winter lighting installation created by artist and engineer Kelly O’Brien.
