Join bayou guide Andrew Groocock on a historical tour of the upper channel of Buffalo Bayou focusing on the historical significance of this industrial stretch and Houston as you cruise the approximately seven miles from the old port of Houston to the new port of Houston.

Blanket Bingo

This popular event is back at Market Square Park! Join BBP and the Downtown District for the first Blanket Bingo event of the year. Bring your blanket, lawn chairs or snag one of the tables at the park for a night of fun, music and great prizes! $10 admission includes one bingo packet (approx. 9 games). Additional games and daubers can be purchased for $1 each. Proceeds benefit BBP and Historic Market Square Park. Get there early as cards sell out quickly!

Twilight Tour

Note

These 30-minute boat rides are a great way to spend the evening with your family. Escape from the city and enjoy the cool breeze as you glide along Buffalo Bayou’s waters. Look for graceful herons, jumping fish, and even the occasional alligator sunning on the banks.

Summer Solstice at the Cistern

Buffalo Bayou Partnership's young professionals group, Bayou Buddies, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Art Crowd invite you to Summer Solstice at the Cistern on June 21. Enjoy complimentary wine and beer from St. Arnold Brewing Company while DJ Felix spins Summer tunes. Food will be available for purchase from popular food trucks. You will also have a chance to view Rain: Magdalena Fernandez at the Houston Cistern before this stunning installation closes on June 25.
