Volunteer with Buffalo Bayou Partnership
Lend a hand! Volunteers are invited to help care for Buffalo Bayou’s parks and trails. Each year, volunteers contribute thousands of hours removing invasive plants, weeding, planting native vegetation, picking up trash and debris, and other tasks as needed. BBP’s restoration and beautification activities lead to a healthier environment and provide an enhanced recreational and cultural amenity for all to enjoy.
There are several ways to get involved:
For individuals and small groups 3rd Saturday of the month
For teams of 10-25
For individuals and small groups Wednesday through Friday
To sign up to volunteer, please submit a waiver below at least two business days in advance to ensure the requested volunteer day and time. Please complete the online waiver or fill out a digital waiver on the morning of your volunteer day. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian provide consent below. Volunteering is only open to ages 9 and up.
We also have special events throughout the year such as the Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta, KBR Kids Day and Market Square Bingo Nights. Email Trudi Smith at email@example.com for more information about event volunteering.
