The Bayou-torium’s mission is to bring art and natural science activities to cultivate stewardship of the nature of Houston's bayous to the bilingual and Spanish-speaking communities of the East End. Open to all ages, the BioArt Bayou-torium’s life science and art making activities are inspired by the ecosystem of Buffalo Bayou.
Musician André Vida, who co-composed and performed the original score for Time No Longer, will appear live for two days only. Vida will play his “Cistern-o-phone,” a custom-made woodwind instrument designed for the occasion. His performance will inhabit and activate Sala’s installation, creating an entirely new acoustic experience of the cavernous Cistern.
