A unique opportunity to enjoy an exclusive dinner at The Dunlavy in Buffalo Bayou Park!
Public Art of the University of Houston System, along with the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, host this public talk which will delve into the eminent artist and his iconic works of kinetic and optical art.
The young professional members of Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s Bayou Buddies and Preservation Houston’s Pier & Beam are invited to a Sip and Share at the restored Sunset Coffee Building on August 8th. Learn more about Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s projects along Houston’s historic waterway and our plans for the East Sector. Preservation Houston will share how they are helping to protect our city’s most important and significant landmarks.
Join us for an opening reception of "Emerge: Fluvial Tapestries from Hurricane Harvey" on Friday, October 26. All 12 sand peel sculptures will be exhibited as part of Emerge: Fluvial Tapestries from Hurricane Harvey in the Sunset Coffee Building Gallery in collaboration with Houston Arts Alliance. The exhibition runs Friday, October 26, 2018 through November 7, 2018.
Join BBP and University of Houston Downtown on December 12 for Unsilent Night! Experience this festive and interactive holiday event in the great outdoors. Unsilent Night is a sound sculpture created when many individuals simultaneously play one of four music tracks by composer Phil Kline. Following the main event, a free reception will be held at BBP's Sunset Coffee Building.
