Join BBP and REI for a community-wide volunteer day to beautify Buffalo Bayou Park! Volunteers (ages 9 and up) will help with trash pick-up, mulching and weed removal. Please bring your own work gloves – all other necessary work tools will be provided by BBP.
Come celebrate, recreate and create at the grand opening of Buffalo Bayou Park. For this free public event, BBP will highlight various destinations and amenities in the 160-acre park that stretches from Shepherd Drive to Sabine Street.
Join young professionals groups, Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s Bayou Buddies and Trees For Houston’s RedBuds, to kick off the 14th Annual Planting on the Parkway for a happy hour at Holley's in Midtown.
BBP and Commissioner Jack Morman of Harris County Precinct Two invite the public to celebrate the completion and opening of Buffalo Bend Nature Park, a scenic 10-acre greenspace located the East End.
Enjoy a free walking tour presented by BBP and KPC. Led by Texas Master Naturalists, the discussion will highlight how the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies in rebuilding this astonishing and all but vanished ecosystem.
Shop at Whole Foods Market Montrose and Kirby during their Community Giving Day. Both stores will donate 5% of all sales from the day to BBP!
Access to Buffalo Bayou Park will be affected due to street closures related to the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run.

Join us for Texas’ largest canoe and kayak race - the Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta!
Houstonians (ages 12 and up) are encouraged to participate in the 15-mile ACA sanctioned race along the scenic Buffalo Bayou.
