We’re partnering with BIG Power Yoga for a series of 45-minute early morning yoga sessions that will take place on the lawn at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. Anyone and everyone is invited to walk through the paths of Buffalo Bayou Park while discussing topics including mental and physical health as well as the benefits of being exposed to nature.

Moon Walk

Take not one, but several small steps for man during this exciting moonlit walk! In conjunction with the 50th Anniversary of the momentous Moon Landing, join Buffalo Bayou Partnership and Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) for an educational “moon walk” along the Buffalo Bayou trails under the glow of a full moon. Led by an HMNS astronomer, you will be enlightened with lunar knowledge.

Houstonians, ages 9 and up, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for community-wide volunteer days at Buffalo Bayou Park happening the third Saturday of each month. Whether volunteering as a large or small group, or individually, your efforts will lead to a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy.
