BBP and Commissioner Jack Morman of Harris County Precinct Two invite the public to celebrate the completion and opening of Buffalo Bend Nature Park, a scenic 10-acre greenspace located the East End.
Join BBP for community-wide volunteer days at Buffalo Bayou Park happening every third Saturday of each month! Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: trash pick-up, mulching and weed removal.
Enjoy a free walking tour presented by BBP and KPC. Led by Texas Master Naturalists, the discussion will highlight how the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies in rebuilding this astonishing and all but vanished ecosystem.
Shop at Whole Foods Market Montrose and Kirby during their Community Giving Day. Both stores will donate 5% of all sales from the day to BBP!
Access to Buffalo Bayou Park will be affected due to street closures related to the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run.
Attend the "Lunch & Learn" at Hotel ICON to learn about BBP programs and initiatives, plus a myriad of related amenities and activities geared towards Houstonians and travelers.
Join us for Texas’ largest canoe and kayak race - the Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta!
Houstonians (ages 12 and up) are encouraged to participate in the 15-mile ACA sanctioned race along the scenic Buffalo Bayou.
