Enjoy a free walking tour in Buffalo Bayou Park highlight how the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies in rebuilding this astonishing and all but vanished ecosystem.
Time: 5pm– 8 pm (30-minute boat rides) The last tour departs at 7:30 pm. Cost: $7 for adults/$5 for children (ages 4–12) Cash only; payment taken when boarding. Enjoy a free, one-hour walking tour presented by BBP and Katy Prairie Conservancy, led by Texas Master Naturalists. The tour will highlight how the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies.
